In the thrilling conclusion of our two part episode with out dear friend "Beverly", more embarrassing moments are brought up (mostly about Tyler) and more insight is shared about the hosts than they probably wanted. There are instances of cross talk but that's what happens when you get all of us in the same room together. It's worse when we're shouting at each other via video game head sets. Enjoy!
We were beyond excited to have "Beverly" as a special guest these next two episodes. There are those friends that you don't see very often due to: work, family, school, distance, but then as soon as you start talking it's like you're picking up from a conversation you were just having. As a listener of the show, and having been present at a number of our most embarrassing moments, he had to interject his perspective on some things we might have left out. It went so long we had to break it up into two parts, so enjoy part one with part two arriving next week!

It was a simpler time then: day glow, new wave, dangerously strong cocaine (the result of which gave life to many of the things we talk about). This week we talk about our favorite movies from the 80's! Are they perfect? No. Are they problematic within our current climate? Yes. Does that affect our love of them? Depends on whose asking. Either way-- we love the and so should you!
We're back at it again, putting to use our superior rhetorical analysis of the myriad of terrible things in the world. We our defending terrible things again. Part way through we start to take on characters to better imbue our arguments with the people that might be defending said things. Is it stereotyping? Maybe. Is it funny? Definitely...maybe.
Bucking the trend and theme of the show, we CHOSE a different route (see what we did there). This week we went through some fun, albeit dicey, choose your own adventure stories found online...with no proof reading. Some of us liked it, some of us didn't, but all of us were surprised! Mostly because Tyler should have vetted the stories before we recorded this episode.
The last of our best of's has us talking about our favorite tv shows of 2018. With so much good stuff to watch, it is hard to find time to see everything great out there, but here are some of our favorite shows of 2018 that don't include watching reruns of "Parks and Rec" and "The Office" for the millionth time.

Very seldom do we here, at Slight Listing, get into topic subjects, but every so often we convene to discuss something that hits close to home. Weezer (Black) just dropped and Tyler needed to hear how terrible it was. Talmon was not happy.

To continue our love letter (effigy would be more appropriate considering how much we'd rather burn the year from the record books), we talk about our favorite music to come out from last year. Some of which we shared but a lot of which we didn't so it was good to find out music was being made after the early 2000's.
